Five Strengths Walk Into a Company Holiday Party…

Hi Reader,

Company holiday parties are one of my favorite places to watch strengths in the wild.

I'm the kind of party-goer that loves group games (like White Elephant), so I can really witness people's strengths in action!!

Here is a light-hearted look at how each CliftonStrength might celebrate at the company celebration this year.

Have fun spotting your themes! 🎁

Achiever: “I’m here, but only for a bit... I've got a lot of other stuff to do.”
Activator: “Let’s get this party started! Why are we still standing around?”
Adaptability: “I go with the flow, especially if it leads to tacos.”
Analytical: “I can explain why this game will take exactly 12 minutes.”
Arranger: “Give me five minutes... I can make this whole setup flow better.”
Belief: “This season means something. Let’s make it count.”
Command: “I’ll give the toast. Hand me the mic.”
Communication: “I’ve already told three stories and made five people laugh.”
Competition: “Is the ugly-sweater contest judged or what?”
Connectedness: “I love how moments like this bring us together.”
Consistency: “Everyone gets the same number of tacos… everyone.”
Context: “Remember last year’s party? I’ve got pictures.”
Deliberative: “I’ll join the game after I see how chaotic it gets.”
Developer: “I’m cheering for everyone, especially the shy ones.”
Discipline: “I arrived early. I have a schedule. Don’t mess with it.”
Empathy: “Someone here needs a warm conversation. I can feel it.”
Focus: “What’s the plan? And please… let’s stick to it.”
Futuristic: “Imagine what next year’s party could be…”
Harmony: “Let’s keep the drama lower than the music, please.”
Ideation: “I’ve got three new ideas for party games — want them?”
Includer: “Hey you! Come join us! No one stands alone tonight.”
Individualization: “I noticed everyone's favorite drink and buying the next round.”
Input: “I brought a fun fact about Christmas Trees. Actually, five.”
Intellection: “I’m over here thinking about why Santa never does team-building exercises.”
Learner: “Tell me about your holiday traditions."
Maximizer: “Good party. I have ideas to make it better next year.”
Positivity: “This is going to be SO FUN!!! I can feel it already!”
Relator: “I’m not avoiding people… I’m curating my company.”
Responsibility: “I'm happy to be the designated driver... again.”
Restorative: “Need a last-minute gift fix? I’ve got ideas… and tape.”
Self-Assurance: “Give me that gift nobody wants... I’ll make it cool.”
Significance: “A holiday toast? I’d love to say a few words.”
Strategic: “I know the best party game plan: grab tacos first, then conquer the dance floor.”
Woo: “I’m collecting new friends like ornaments.”

Did I get your party personality right?
